Le nombre de demandeurs d'emploi résidents disponibles inscrits à l'ADEM s’établit à 15.670 au 31 mars 2019. Sur un an, cela constitue une baisse de 286 personnes, soit de 1,8%. Le taux de chômage, corrigé des variations saisonnières, calculé par le Statec, s'établit à 5,4%. Par rapport au mois de février 2019, le nombre de demandeurs d'emploi résidents disponibles progresse de 162. Une telle hausse est inhabituelle, puisque les variations saisonnières font que le nombre de demandeurs d'emploi baisse d'habitude entre les mois de février et mars. Elle peut s'expliquer par les inscriptions de bénéficiaires du Revenu d’inclusion sociale (REVIS), suite à l'entrée en vigueur de la nouvelle loi en la matière.

At the 2019 Heavent Awards held on Thursday, 28th March in Cannes, France, Alter Domus and its partner event agency VO Event from Belgium won the Internal Communication Event Award, ahead of such competition as Sodexo, Ubisoft and La Poste of France. The award highlights the effort and skill involved with organising Alter Domus’s 15-year anniversary event in September 2018. Supervisory Board Chairman Dominique Robyns, Dorothee Deleu of the event organisation committee, and representatives of the VO Event agency were personally in attendance in Cannes to receive the award at the annual gala event. The evening before had also seen Alter Domus and VO Event take home the prestigious B2E award at the BEA Awards in Belgium.
